About Michael Ochakovsky

With over 10 years of experience in data analytics, I am passionate about using data and technology to improve healthcare quality, efficiency, and accessibility. I have a master's degree in data analytics and information technology, and a bachelor's degree in health science, which gives me a solid foundation in both the technical and clinical aspects of informatics. I currently work as a Data analytics manager at Weil Cornell Medicine. In my current role, I interpret and translate data sources, data definitions, metrics, and analytics to influence practice behaviors and patient outcomes for clinicians within multiple levels of the organization. I also document and analyze business processes and help drive business process improvement workflows. I collaborate effectively with other informatics and business teams, and manage the scope of business solutions to meet the goals of the organization. I use my skills in reporting requirements, databases, and database design to create and implement analytical solutions that improve processes, measure clinical quality goals, and develop predictive models. I also engage and manage customers, both internal and external, to effectively leverage resources and deliver value.
