About Michael Odea

With a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Coaching and Business Management from IT Carlow / SETU, I’ve built a career rooted in sport — combining hands-on experience in football administration, community sport, and tech-based solutions. I currently work as a Customer Success Executive at SportsKey, a company on a mission to help 20 million people play sport by 2024. We empower sports facilities around the world to reduce admin and increase participation through our all-in-one facility management and online booking platform. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and organisations such as the Football Association of Ireland, SETU Carlow, Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership, and now SportsKey. These roles have given me experience in operations, customer onboarding, software support, stakeholder engagement, and event delivery — all through a people-first, sport-driven lens. I’m passionate about driving impact through sport, whether it’s helping communities access inclusive programmes or supporting clubs and facilities in delivering a better experience for players, coaches, and administrators. Always eager to learn and grow, I’m excited to continue contributing to the evolving sports industry.
