About Michael Olcese

I focus my practice in civil litigation, first and third-party no-fault claims, general and professional liability, dram shop, premises liability, insurance defense, municipal law, and labor and employment. Every lawsuit has a different story and I strive to provide a tailored approach for each lawsuit to ensure my clients receive the best representation. I am aggressive, when needed, and strive to ensure my clients are informed of the strengths and weaknesses of the case throughout the course of litigation. My diligence and strategy has garnered a reputation for being an effective advocate and I obtained numerous dismissals and favorable results for numerous clients. I also have the privilege of serving as an Adjunct Law Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. This course utilizes a realistic hypothetical fact pattern to provide students with a hands-on practical approach to the civil litigation process. I am admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan, State of Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
