About Michael Orcutt

In 2020, I graduated magna cum laude through the Honors Program at the University of Tulsa with a B.A. double major in Political Science and German Language, and a minor in Law, Policy, and Social Justice. Currently, I am a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Tulsa College of Law with experience in Commercial Transactions, evidenced by my work on corporate contracts, including SaaS agreements, software sales agreements, master service agreements, service-level agreements, and user terms and conditions. I can analyze, understand, and redline various contract clauses including confidentiality, limitations of liability, representations and warranties, indemnity, boilerplate, and other general clauses. I also possess experience-based familiarity with financial institution processing of Trusts, POAs, consumer lending, and real estate notes and mortgages. As a legal extern, I worked with internal business partners at TTCU Federal Credit Union to review, edit, and redline commercial purchase contracts, a master service agreement, and a software sales agreement. I reviewed and edited language to align with our business unit's risk tolerance policies, allowing the agreements to be reviewed in a timely manner and assisting in an efficient vendor due diligence process to help the business partners finalize the contracts and onboard the programs.
