I started bringing USA-based manufacturing company products [ automotive aftermarket Industry] to Europe 22-years ago; working with Booster Pac; Clore Automotive and Schumacher Electric. Found distribution throughout the EU [ and later Globally]. Opened DC's, and later branch-offices, in Italy, Netherlands and Belgium. Grew the business over this period, from zero sales [ and zero EU/Global products] to more than $300-million in total new business. Hired and managed Sales/Marketing teams and product-development staff that interacted with the manufacturing teams [ at factory and engineering level] in China; Belgium; Italy; Mexico and the USA. Worked with USA/China/Mexico/Australia on getting products certified [ CE ] with DEKRA and other relevant agencies; produced sell-sheets and other marketing collateral. All products had to be manufactured from 110V 60 Htz to 110-240V 50/60 Htz for distribution globally-a big ask for companies who previously had only manufactured products for North America. Worked on strategic acquisitions of several companies [ in Italy and Belgium] that complimented the product range and allowed the present company to compete in all areas of Battery Management and general garage service/workshops products/tools. Also worked with Facom on obtaining licensing contract for Stanley and Black and Decker automotive products for Europe, Asia, Australia and Middle-East. Developed many long-term relationships with both distributors and private-branding with companies like: Hefra/Manbat; Sealey; Wurth; Berner; Banner; DCAfam Matthies and many many more.
