About Michael Ovikian

As a student at the Kelley School of Business, I am a strong leader, hardworking, and genuine. Within the teams and organizations I interact with, I lead efficiently and foster growth on a community level. As former Co-founder/ Co-President of the investments club at my high school, I guided over 100 students in independent studies on investment strategies and financial independence through interactive bi-weekly seminars. Our members implemented their newly acquired skills through many simulation investing activities where our student's growth was exponential. No matter what endeavor I pursue, I remain hardworking and diligent. I currently manage and hold part ownership in a landscaping company in the Twin City area where I manage over 20 employees, work to market my services, and manage the company's financials through Excel. I am also very genuine in my pursuits. One of my hobbies is playing and watching hockey. As a result, I gained a managerial position at a large summer hockey league called "Da Beauty League" where professional hockey players come together to play in a league in Minnesota to raise money that goes to nonprofits.
