About Michael Owen

My career has included working in marketing and public relations, journalism, the restaurant industry, and education. I have both an extensive knowledge of marketing and public relations, business management, and education. I'm very proud to say that I have a unique career background that suits me well for many positions. As the owner of my own marketing company for over a decade, I learned exceptional project management and organizational skills. Working in a newsroom, as the Sr. Assignment Editor at KUSI-TV for 5 years, taught me strong interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills. In order to thrive in a newsroom, you must have the ability to be efficient and collaborate with others. Not to mention, this gives me an advantage for public relations because I understand the ins and outs of news television. Being a teacher for seven years taught me how to provide excellent customer service to both parents and students. I consider myself very versatile with a strong attention to detail. I currently live in San Diego. I am married with a beautiful 2 year-old daughter and two fur babies.
