About Michael Parente

As the Assistant Director of Communications at New England's largest community college, I'm responsible for all internal and external communications, which includes profiling our amazing students, highlighting the achievements of our exceptional faculty, and developing comprehensive messaging strategies to help drive enrollment, generate press coverage of key college endeavors, build a sense of community, and provide students with the information they need to succeed from when they enroll to the day they cross the stage at commencement. In my part-time role as Sports Information Director, I am also responsible for all internal and external communications for the Department of Athletics, Recreation, and Wellness in addition to managing content for all of Athletics' social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). This work includes extensive graphic design and developing effective media pitches to generate coverage for our seven varsity programs and student-athletes.
