In 20+ years at the W.B.H. Center for Space Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas I have worked closely within a small engineering and science team to propose, develop, build, test, deploy and operate thermal plasma sensors for NASA and USAF low-Earth orbit satellite programs. My role in these projects has varied and touched on almost all areas of an end-to-end space flight hardware project. Recently I have taken the lead in systems engineering, electrical design, flight parts selection and procurement, electronics manufacturing and test, instrument integration and test, verification and validation, operations planning and execution, and data processing. Through these projects I have developed a very wide range of space flight hardware knowledge and experience, as well as exposure to space flight mission development and execution.
