About Michael Petrell

Dedication to the constant pursuit of knowledge drives my passion for the finance industry. Throughout my coursework, I have developed a deep interest in asset and wealth management. I am a Grossman School of Business senior at The University of Vermont with a dual concentration in finance and business analytics. After receiving my SIE certification under FINRA in late August 2022, I was determined to seek new opportunities to advance my career. As I have just passed my CFA Level 1 examination, I am extremely excited to continue my educational pursuit of the financial markets within the next few years. In addition to my academic pursuits, I was treasurer of the Sigma Phi Society, race for the Alpine Ski Racing Club, and the co-founded the Equity Valuation Club. I enjoy fostering competition among my friends and staying active in the gym or outside, as I have done so through various sports throughout my life. I am always looking to connect with like-minded individuals and explore new opportunities in the finance industry.
