About Michael Philipp Adams

PhD researcher in Physics and Materials Science | Passionate about electrodynamics, magnetism, neutron scattering, physical modelling and theory–experiment synergy I'm a PhD researcher at the University of Luxembourg, currently exploring the magnetic microstructure of nanoparticles through small-angle neutron scattering. My academic journey began in electrical engineering and evolved into a deep engagement with fundamental physics, especially magnetic phenomena at the nanoscale. Over the past years, I’ve authored 15+ peer-reviewed publications and given talks across Europe and Asia. My work bridges analytical theory, simulations, and experimental data – driven by curiosity and a desire to truly understand physical systems beyond simplified models. I was a visiting PhD student at the University of Oxford, and I’ve had the privilege of conducting research at leading institutes like LINXS in Sweden.
