Automotive illumination and lighting professional with a demonstrated history of innovation within the automotive industry. Specialized in the development and implementation of advanced vehicle exterior Illumination systems solutions, focusing on Military, Off-Road, Mobility and Electric (EV) applications. Conceived and introduced first truly Lightweight, Ultra-efficient as well as Eco-friendly Magnesium-based light housing/heat sink technology for the rapidly expanding Mobility sector. Introduced the application of exposed Optical Silicone lenses and optics for vehicle, industrial and mobility illumination functions, such as Headlamps, Fog lamps and Auxiliary lamps. Such innovations include the unique combination of external lens and optical elements molded as a single component, not only capable of achieving road-legal homologation, in the process doubling of optical performance and optical efficiency over existing vehicle illumination solutions. These innovations now include a totally novel TIR - Total Internal Reflection - based optical system, uniquely capable of delivering major increases in illumination performance than currently available. Doing so in a compact, single optical step of less than one inch (25.4 mm). This innovation has now been awarded a US Patent, Furthermore, Optical Silicone also being 100% recyclable, further expands upon eco-friendliness and sustainability while simultaneously reducing cost, size and bulk. Actively engaged in the development of US Military illumination products having now been accredited as an official US Military supplier. These solutions introduce major improvements in performance, durability, robustness and energy-efficiency in the process, specifically addressing the combined needs for improved vehicle illumination as well as decreased energy consumption in support of electrified vehicle platforms.
