About Michael Pirnie

Michael Pirnie assists clients with real estate and development matters. He advises landlords, owners, tenants, developers, agents, and investors on the acquisition, sale, development, and leasing of real property throughout the USA. Michael’s transactional work includes due diligence coordination and review, document drafting (including leases and purchase agreements), and other pre-closing and post-closing matters. He also navigates clients through real estate due diligence in mergers and acquisitions. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Michael ventured to see the world before coming back home. After spending 5+ years in New York City, China, and Taiwan working in the fields of education and policy, Michael learned the importance of listening to understand. He translates this experience into a focus on understanding his client’s needs so that he can provide thoughtful and timely solutions. Michael attended the University of Virginia School of Law and took part in the school’s Law and Business Program. While in law school he worked with MBA, MPP, and fellow law students as a Tri-Sector Leadership Fellow. Michael continuously seeks to deepen his understanding of business and policy issues so that he can provide clients with practical legal advice- Michael Pirnie is actively pursuing opportunities to work with leaders in Omaha on issues of sustainability, smart development, and education.
