About Michael Plank
After growing up in a pastor's family, I have been involved in local church ministry for the past 31 years in the RM Christian Church. My interests in theology, discipleship and worship have led me into involvement and dialogues in a much broader Evangelical environment, as well as the Catholic Church, through Fuller Seminary and BIOLA University. My published dissertation researches the connection between the spiritual vitality of the worship leader and his/her effectiveness in congregational ministry. My heart is not only to see people embrace Christ, but also for long time believers to be resuscitated from the deadening effects religion can impose. I also long to see Christians learn that biblical worship is more missional than musical, and for the Bible to come alive in fresh ways for those who are serious about understanding its message.
