About Michael Prankard

I have over 5 years working in project management within the construction industry providing bespoke furniture and joinery. During this time I successfully managed over 400 project from inception to completion, working with design teams, architects, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and clients. I am proficient in producing and reviewing technical drawings in sketch up and CAD, completing detailed site surveys and liaising with the installations team to ensure a high quality fit-out. I have excellent knowledge of the process of managing projects end to end, with a wealth of experience in working with multiple stakeholders to keep a project on track. I have predominately used the waterfall project management methodology to manage projects, but am also familiar with Agile methodologies where required. My previous roles have involved developing detailed project plans and site programmes to suit real time actuals and managing all aspects of the delivery of the project. In addition, my previous positions have allowed me to develop other skills including creating processes and policies to increase efficiency and improve product profitability and margins. Across all of my previous roles, I have had to manage finances and budgets. Whilst at Stirling Medical I was responsible for the budgets of each project I managed and had to ensure we achieved the maximum gross profit. However at Allied Healthcare and Care UK, I oversaw the invoicing and payroll for all Local Authorities within our branch, making sure we were achieving the maximum profitability. During my time at Allied Healthcare and CareUK, I managed a team of between 10 and 18 people. My line management responsibilities included setting and reviewing KPI’s and SMART objectives, managing performance and recruitment. Due to the nature of these roles, I developed impeccable time management and learnt how to prioritise my workload, how to manage people, get the best out of them and build positive relationships. I am an extremely driven and passionate individual who thrives working in a busy environment. I am comfortable working independently and in a team. As well as my work experience mentioned above, I am educated to University Level and enjoy the process of learning new things whether it be through work, further education or in my personal life.
