About Michael Prevete
After receiving my Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Connecticut, I was unsure of what I wanted to pursue as a career. I was sure though, that I wanted to help people. A majority of my work centered in student support with UConn Connects and the Academic Achievement Center, and working with individuals who, like me, struggled academically, sparked my passion for helping students.I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at the age of 14 and have since continued to share my story and do my part to raise awareness.
