As Kennel Master at Naval Air Station, Key West, I coordinated over 20 United States Secret Service Missions for all MWD handlers assigned to NAS, Key West in support of the President, Vice President and many other Foreign Heads of State. Selected as Top Dog team by rising above and beyond the expectations of all handlers while attending Yuma Proving Grounds Pre-Deployment course before an upcoming deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom. Two Years of Kennel Master Experience, Filling an E7 (Chief Petty Officer) position as an E5 (Second Class Petty Officer) Responsible for the health, training and utilization of all MWD teams, Kennel facility, administrative records, team validations and training. The Primary Explosive Custodian for all training aids, Coordinator of all inspections conducted on the Naval Air Station instillation. Kennel Trainer, HAZMAT Coordinator, Command Assessment team Member. Flawlessly completed the most recent Joint Service Intergrated Vulnerability Assessment (JSIVA) and Explosive Safety Inspection (ESI) with zero mishaps. Recognized and awarded the best kennel in the southeast region by passing our FY13 Security Training Assisting Assessment Team (STAAT) inspection with an overall grade of 97% and all dogs post certifying in their respected fields of certification.
