About Michael Quennoz

Mr. Quennoz has ten years of cultural resource management and archaeological experience in academic, governmental and institutional settings; working on archaeological survey, testing, and mitigation projects relating to the pipeline, transportation, and construction industries, private development, and public works projects. He has conducted archaeological investigations in Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, and Wyoming. He also has prior international experience having worked in Malta and Turkey. His employment and academic experience include prehistoric and historic site excavation, archaeological pedestrian survey, historic records research, artifact conservation, report preparation, and underwater archaeology. He is proficient in the use of Trimble GPS devices, ArcGIS Collector, federal and state agency databases, Google Earth, the piloting of small boats, and standard SCUBA equipment. He is an active participant in numerous archaeological public outreach efforts.
