About Michael R. Bellerose

Michael Bellerose is a 28 year Air Force Veteran, confident leader, manager, and inspirational speaker. He graduated from Concord High School in 1986. At a young age he was searching out leadership training/experience. As a member of the Concord DeMolay Chapter he became the Master Councilor of the chapter at the age of 16. In 1987 he enlisted in the USAF as a Security Forces (SF) Airman. Over his tenure, he was recognized as a superior performer on the Emergency Service Team, Base Honor Guard, and numerous inspection as an SF managerial and team leader. In 1993 he joined the Reserves and continued his educational journey at the University of Oklahoma (OU). After graduating, he pursued his passion for aviation as a Flight Instructor, Corporate Pilot, Nantucket Airlines and Piedmont Airlines. In April 2016 he was hired by American Airlines on the Airbus 319/320/321. He has earned three A.S. from CCAF, BS from OU, MBA from TUI and will defend a dissertation this fall (2016) from Trident University International. In 2004 he was selected as a First Sergeant and was immediately recognized as the Wing First Sergeant of the Year. This strategic level position highlighted his natural leadership qualities and he continued to rise in leadership opportunities. He served at the First Sergeant Academy as the AFRC Course Director, Director of Operations, Director of Education, and Commandant. His outstanding leadership and devotion earned him the promotion to Chief Master Sergeant and the Reserve Command's First Sergeant Functional. In 2011 he was hand picked as the Reserve Command's interim Command Chief, impacting over Airmen. Presently, Michael is always looking for opportunities to lead, develop, and make a difference at any level. His passion for people, devotion to development, and drive to improve processes through team leadership has made him a desirable leader ready to step in.
