Law enforcement - 20 years experience in conducting investigations of allegations involving criminal activities, administrative misconduct and financial crimes. Auditing - 6 years experience conducting government audits. Both financial and compliance. Private Insurance - 2 years experience in management as assistant manager of corporate income taxes. Responsible for specialized corporate tax filings with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and Canadian Provincial Revenue services. In addition, responsible for all subsidiary companies' income filings and real estate or property taxes filings for the parent company. Non-Profit orgs- several years experience working as Board member of a housing coop: Genesis II, Chicago, IL; and, homeowners associations: Hamlets, Manassas, VA, and Estates of Hidden Creek, Shorewood, IL. Experience also as Board member and officer of Nat'l member-based organizations: BIG and NOBLE. Recently, began the process with Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, IL, Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, as an Advocate, I will provide advocacy for residents in LTCare facilities and referral any noted elder abuse to the Department of Public Health, Adult Protective Services. I completed training at, Suburban Cook County Agency on Aging, Senior Medicare Patrol program, as volunteer I will conduct group fraud awareness briefings. Member of Board of Directors (Will County), Northeastern Illinois Agency on Aging. Also, reappointed for 2-yr term, Election Judge, Will County Clerk, Joliet, IL. In addition, Chaplain, NARFE, Louis Joliet Chap; and Coor, e-NARFE, IL Federation. Volunteer work in community-based, social service organizations: Providence Hospital (Southfield, MI), Joliet Jobs Corps(Joliet, IL), Warren-Sharpe Community Center(Joliet, IL) and Greater Chicago Food Depository. Also, long-time financial supporter of United Way agencies and other community-service organizations. Professional goals - bi-vocational. To continue to develop ministerial skills in service to local religious congregations. And to use my complimentary background of investigative and audit skills in future endeavors to assist businesses, non-profit organizations with regulatory compliance, corporate governance, or strategic analysis.
