About Michael Radford
I have worked within the arts, education and youth sectors for the past eight years. During this time I have developed a portfolio of work mainly focussed on community engagement and learning within theatre, heritage and visual arts. I have successfully managed and supported projects and programmes funded by organisations such as Arts Council England, National Heritage Lottery Fund, Children In Need, Youth Music and other national funding bodies. I am also an Associate Director for Lit Theatre Company; a midlands based theatre company creating contemporary work with diverse communities, providing artist development and supporting cultural education. Most recently I became a Trustee for Meander Theatre Company; an East Midlands company creating opportunities within theatre arts practice for young people & adults with learning disabilities. My background is in performing arts, after completing my degree I worked as an actor for both stage and screen.
