Hey there, I'm Michael, a Business Development Manager and Marketing Specialist driven by a passion for entrepreneurship. My journey began with aspirations in engineering, but my heart wasn't in it. Cricket was my true passion, and during my time playing for the district team, I discovered my love for marketing during the IPL boom in 2012. Inspired by the significant presence of major brands in cricket events, I transitioned towards event management. Starting as a media consultant and sales trainee, I eventually found my stride at a startup in the events industry. Despite facing challenges, including a setback with a failed event, I persevered and pursued an MBA to further develop my skills. My experience at Hunar Online provided invaluable insights into ATL & BTL activities, Branding & Advertising, and Lead generation, offering a platform to learn, adapt, and grasp the dynamics of the marketing world. Certifications in Digital Marketing from Google and Internshala further refined my expertise. Additionally, I co-founded @beingtechster, a successful tech blog on Instagram with over 65k followers, leveraging my passion for technology to crack the social media code and assist brands in online growth. Later, as a Merchandise Analyst at Homecentre, I delved into the retail industry, handling merchandise data & reporting using Microsoft PowerBI and other tools, which solidified the foundation for my marketing acumen. Combining data-driven insights with marketing strategies, I realized my potential to contribute significantly to brand growth. Joining Merquri Medica as a Business Development Manager aligned with my passion to contribute meaningfully to society, focusing on saving lives. Here, I utilize my social media skills to build a strong online brand presence and employ my marketing expertise to formulate comprehensive 360-degree marketing plans for business growth and expansion.
