Recent graduate of the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance - A commitment to academic success earned me a place on the Dean’s Honour List in my final two years of university - I was a nominated for and received the 2016/2017 CFA Institute University Recognition Program Scholarship due to my drive to pursue a career in analytical finance as well as academic success During my final year of university, I consulted with Driving Miss Daisy, Toronto East, a small business, on matters of finance and strategy - Advising on capital budgeting decisions, improving expense management, and overhauling the pricing policy - As a result of this work, the business increased capacity in February 2017 and experienced growth in monthly revenue and operating income of 76% and 63%, respectively, between January and June Beyond simply being able to succeed academically in finance and apply it in the real world, I enjoy the subject and utilizing it to make more informed decisions - My passion for finance is the reason I started tutoring during forth year of university, so that I could use what I’ve learned to help those who are struggling with the topic - During my personal time, I conduct equity research on potential investments for my personal investment portfolio, something I have been doing for the past two years
