About Michael Rees

With over 20 years of business development, partnerships & sales management experience across industries as diverse as the media (print, broadcast, digital), tech, retail and now executive education, I have worked for and with some of the most innovative and influential companies in the world. I have led and driven projects that have shaped the entertainment industry and the consumer experience in the Asia Pacific region and beyond. Today I am working with Climateworks Centre to lead the partnerships function of the Net Zero Academy. Climateworks Centre bridges the gap between research and climate action, operating as an independent not-for-profit within Monash University. The Net Zero Academy provides Executive Education solutions to help organisations develop climate policies to align with changing regulation requirements, risks as well as opportunities associated with net zero. Leveraging the expertise of the Monash Sustainable Development Institute, a world leading interdisciplinary research and education institute for sustainable development, along with the research and action of Climateworks and industry expertise and best practice, we provide executive education solutions like no other.
