About Michael Reis

As a dedicated water operator with over five and a half years of comprehensive experience in water systems, I am well-equipped to ensure the delivery of safe and clean water to our communities. I hold a Treatment 3 Operator's License, a Distribution 2 Operator's License and a Wastewater 1 Operator's license. My hands-on expertise spans across all aspects of water treatment and distribution, enabling me to effectively manage and optimize operations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to sustainable water management. I have operated and managed various water and wastewater technologies such as micro/nano-filtration, UV treatment,ozone treatment and conventional filtration as well as have extensive experience involved in fixing, maintaining and testing water and wastewater systems. I have participated in state compliance and operation work with some of the biggest companies in the world as well as residential communities and private businesses. I have a strong work ethic and have managed crews of up to 5 people at a time. EDUCATION-Resources Management Program with an emphasis on watershed management, water for consumption and distribution(treatment), wastewater collection and treatment processes-Natural Resource Conservation Program with emphasis on species, range, watershed, and wilderness management, forestry practices, and conservation of California’s natural resources.
