Extensive background in the banking/financial services industry with experience in check fraud, counterfeit activity, US Treasury Reclamations, legal processing (including court appearances, as Keeper of the Records, arbitration representative, subpoena/summons processing, research and billing), Microsoft Office Prior to the PNC Bank role, Michael held several positions within National City Bank Operations on the retail and corporate sides, including check kite investigations, general ledger balancing, and procedure development. Michael developed fraud training materials and conducted presentations to the retail branch network throughout the National City footprint. Michael was also a team member of several award winning projects, including the implementation of the KYC USA Patriot Act and the Fraud Hot List project as well as the development of the Fraud Monitoring Counterfeit Group. Michael was part of several acquisitions and worked of the integration of banks and training of incoming staff. Michael also played a role in the implementation and replacement of the upgraded retail branch network teller system by supporting several branches during the rollout for the state of Indiana.
