About Michael Rife

Nearly 30 Years of Construction industry experience. Executive-level experience in the Construction Association world, thorough Project Management, and Estimating history, proven craft-level knowledge, and successful production-level leadership expertise with a strong knowledge base and emphasis on apprenticeship, and training, still with two eyes toward safety culture and production. Including demonstrated proficiency in both the General Contractor and Sub-Contractor segments of the construction industry. Experienced with all types of commercial projects from airports, hospitals, and scientific laboratories to schools, motels, hotels, and office buildings. Michael Rife is building Safe and Smart New Mexico and eventually S&S America, to help you with challenging issues your company may be facing. Currently instructing Apprenticeship programs and Pre-apprenticeship programs, and reviewing safety practices for private clients and institutions, including AGC-NM, and UNM. Using NCCER curriculum as a certified proctor, evaluator, and craft training instructor, and offering Safety program evaluation, site walks, safety audits, program review, or company startup assistance specifically to growing contractors who need reliable help - but not another new full-time person. Our goal is to help your construction company troubleshoot ideas, to solve complex problems; helping you design, redesign, or evaluate your challenging processes and procedures. All with an emphasis on growing and maintaining the most valuable and challenging asset in our world: our industry executive administrative and craft professionals. Our goal at Safe and Smart is to grow the company's overall clientele base in the South and Southwest part of the country from our primary location in New Mexico.
