The views expressed here are my own and in no way reflect the views of MTU" Growing up, I always enjoyed playing with Cars, Vans, Trucks and Trailers, anything really with an engine fascinated me. I was lucky enough to have been shown the fundamentals of Automotive Engineering from my Father who worked with a Ford Main Dealer for 49 years. As time progressed, my love of anything Automotive moved into a love for the entire Automotive and Transport Industry. Being honest, in my early teens, I was more interested in the social aspect of school rather than my academic endeavors. Little did I think back then that, I would become a big promoter of the benefits of education, and complete a Degree in Automotive Engineering and a Degree in Business Management. As part of my journey, I have also completed an MSc in Digital Marketing gradating with First Class Honours. I worked for 20 years in the Automotive Industry with Ford Ireland and I proud of what I achieved. Over 20 years, I worked in Customer Relations, Technical, Aftersales Business Development before my most recent role as National Fleet Sales Manager. In September 2019, I was afforded an opportunity to step back from Industry and move into the work of academia and help to guide the next generation of Automotive Leaders on their career path. I must say my latest role is truly amazing as I get to work some truly inspiring young students.
