About Michael Rizzo

I lead the development and execution of strategic alliances with global partners that drive value for our customers and growth for our company. I leverage my strong skills in research, consulting, and relationship building to identify, negotiate, and close deals with key stakeholders across various industries and regions. I have a BA in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence from York University, where I developed a keen interest in the intersection of human behavior, technology, and data. I am passionate about creating innovative and impactful solutions that enhance customer experience and engagement. Previously, I worked as a Strategic Global Alliance Manager and a GSI - Strategic Partnerships and Alliances Manager at Algolia, a leading search and discovery platform, and as a Merchant Success Manager at Shopify, a leading e-commerce platform. In these roles, I successfully managed and expanded multiple partnerships, generating revenue, referrals, and retention for both parties. I also supported and empowered customers with best practices, insights, and resources to help them achieve their goals. I am a mental health advocate and a member of Partnership Leaders, a community of partnership professionals.
