About Michael Rodriguez

As a Clinical Enterprise Project Manager at Baptist Health, I manage all aspects of project planning and process improvement for the Quality Network, a network of providers that deliver high-quality care and service to patients. I consult with various departments on their analytical needs and objectives, and work closely with providers on meeting their benchmarks for HEDIS/STARS, quality measures that evaluate health plan performance and outcomes. I have over 6 years of experience in leading and coordinating quality improvement projects in the health care industry, working with managed care organizations, partners, and internal teams to gather data, perform analysis, and implement new methods and processes. I have also supervised relevant audits and medical record reviews, and promoted and coordinated new quality improvement initiatives and studies. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as case management, field research, data analysis, and electronic health record systems. I hold a Masters in Public Health from Monroe College, where I developed my skills in leadership, administration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and research. In addition, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College (CUNY). My goal is to leverage my skills and experience to support the quality and performance of the Baptist Health Quality Network, and to contribute to the health, wellness, and fitness of the communities we serve.
