About Michael Romack

I have seven years of experience in the food service industry and one year of experience in academic tutoring. Throughout this time period, I have worked several different positions, from dishwasher and busser to server and bartender. This variety of experience has made me an empathetic and team-oriented worker, striving to give the best service to all and assist fellow workers to make the business run smoothly. My education at the University of Southern Mississippi has prepared me to move into a future as a secondary educator in English. My focus on English has provided me with knowledge of classical and contemporary literature, as well as technical and creative writing. My current role as an admissions counselor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has combined all of my skills from my experience and sharpened them to a focus on higher education. I work to build trusting relationships with students, parents, and high school counselors to provide the best information about the university and college experience so that all potential students can make the best decisions possible.
