About Michael Rosato

Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked a conglomerated roll as Head of Marketing, Creative, and Brand Direction for Tension Climbing. I've simultaneously held the positions of Social Media Manager, Visual Content Producer, Graphic Designer, Athlete Manager, Product Designer, and Brand Strategist. My collective efforts in these areas have, in short, helped to bolster Tension Climbing — a niche climbing and training goods company — into an internationally recognized core climbing brand. My educational background is a melting pot of Consumer Sciences, Consumer Psychology, English, and Teaching. Not only have these foundations prepared me to understand consumers (why they make the choices they make and what makes them tick), they’ve also helped me understand how to develop effective content that is relatable, easily interpreted, and as consumable as soft serve. I have spent almost 20 years of my non-professional life as a climber. My passion (or obsession) for the sport is a massive part of my life and is what I spend the majority of my free time traveling for and pursuing.
