About Michael Rubino

Michael Rubino started his journey into construction at around five years old. He worked alongside his father, Richard, who owned a restoration business in New Jersey. However, it wasn’t until 2013 that Michael officially got involved in the family business after graduating from college. While his father’s company primarily focused on fire restoration and water damage, mold was a huge part of the process. As time passed, Michael began noticing issues with how the current industry addressed remediation. Time and again, he noticed individuals seeking repeat remediation for continued adverse health reactions or reoccurrences of microbial growth. After deep-diving into scientific research, he realized additional work was needed during remediation projects to not only remove mold but also remove its byproducts and fix the source that led to the problem in the first place. This newfound knowledge led him to become a council-certified mold remediator by the IICRC and ACAC and to establish HomeCleanse, formally known as All American Restoration– a company focused on changing the scope of remediation. He became a specialist in working with immunocompromised people or those with acute and sustained reactions to mold exposure. By working with science and technology, he created revolutionary remediation protocols. These treatments provide solutions that eliminate mold sources and 100 percent of the contamination created by those sources using his proprietary "Home Detox" method. He has helped thousands of families heal from toxic mold exposure so far. Michael's commitment to improving indoor air quality extends beyond his client work. He realized that the best way to make a significant impact was to share his knowledge with others. His primary focus and passion for the future is to increase global awareness about creating safe indoor environments. To this end, he established the Change the Air Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to addressing the epidemic of poor indoor air quality through education, policy reform, and research. He also hosts a podcast called Never Been Sicker, a channel geared towards providing listeners with knowledge on improving health, providing support for detoxing, and minimizing exposure to poor air quality, topical and environmental toxins, and more. Furthermore, he authors articles and provides expert commentary to press outlets nationwide. These initiatives are a testament to his vision and his determination to make a difference on a global scale.
