About Michael Ruge

My practice is focused on using the multiple tools available at Morgan Stanley to create strategies to address both the short and long term financial needs that are unique to each Client. Clients have a wide range of life experience, and therefore, quite varied financial needs and objectives. In addition, life often has a way of presenting us with unforeseen events. Sound financial planning can provide valuable input to assist the Client with not only today’s decisions, but can provide insight and preparation for the known and unknown life choices that may present themselves down the road. Professionally, I hold Series 7, 9, 10, 31, and 66 Securities Licenses along with Life and Health Insurance Licenses in multiple states. In addition, I am licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS #126547) and hold a California Insurance License #0G71899. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, I was involved in Capital Planning and Scheduling with the City of Detroit, serving as Capital Program Coordinator for an approximately $700 million construction program. I moved to Wisconsin and spent 15 years with a private corporation, the last 7 years as a Division Manager. I joined Morgan Stanley in order to use the money management, planning, and personal skills developed over 25 years of public and private sector experience to help individuals plan, manage, and grow their personal finances. I grew up in Green Bay, WI where I have lived on and off for most of my life. I am married and have three lovely daughters, two outstanding son-in-laws, and am the proud “Papa” to my grandson. I am an active member of my church; a Packers and Badgers fan; and an avid golfer.
