About Michael Ryan

Michael Ryan is an IBM Distinguished Engineer in IBM's SAP Consulting practice. He is currently serving as the Global CTO for IBM's SAP Consulting Practice. He has served in numerous program management, project management, technical team lead, enterprise architecture, and hands-on consulting roles during his 26+ years with IBM. He is an expert in solutioning and delivering large-scale, complex IT client engagements with SAP and Hybrid Cloud at their core. Michael’s ability to understand the client’s business needs, design effective solutions and technically govern their delivery has led to significant client and IBM delivery success and follow-on IBM business. Michael is a recognized leader within the technical and business community, holding IBM Consulting Technical Leadership roles and serving as the offering CTO for the SAP Landscape as a Service offering. He developed assets to plan, review, and assess the IT infrastructure for SAP implementations, to define the enterprise architecture for our SAP clients, to develop hybrid and multi-cloud architectures/processes/procedures for SAP operational environments, and to deliver systems and assets during the system development lifecycle for SAP implementations.
