About Michael Samuel

I'm a Senior Android Engineer with 10+ years building production mobile systems that go well beyond typical app development. I've shipped Android platforms for humanoid robots at NEOM City, architected a full-stack EV Charging Management Platform (OCPP + WebSocket + Flutter), and maintained a live auction app serving 120k+ monthly active users — all while keeping crash-free rates at 99.9%. My core focus is architecture. I design systems that scale: multi-module Clean Architecture, MVVM, domain-driven design, and ADR frameworks that give entire engineering teams a shared foundation. I don't just write features — I own the technical strategy behind them. What I work with: Kotlin · Jetpack Compose · Clean Architecture · Multi-module · Coroutines · StateFlow · Hilt · Retrofit · WebSocket · ExoPlayer · WebRTC · OpenAI API · Firebase · CI/CD Domains I've worked in: Robotics (CRUZR, Pepper) · EV Infrastructure · Fintech · Real-time Media · Service Marketplaces · Health & Retail A few highlights: → 35% reduction in human escalations via GPT-4 intent recognition (NEOM City robots) → 99.9% crash-free rate sustained across all production builds → 120k+ MAU on a live auction platform with real-time audio/video streaming → Migrated 15+ module legacy codebase to Clean Architecture — onboarding time cut from 3 weeks to 1 week I'm open to Senior / Staff Android Engineer roles where architecture decisions matter and ownership is real. michaelsam00@yahoo.com
