The self-proclaimed “Mike Rowe” of nursing, I have experienced patient care through many lenses including OR, ED, ICU, M/S/T, leadership, and education. I am the current Corporate Clinical ED Educator for RWJBarnabas Health and I leverage my vast clinical knowledge and experiences to enhance nursing education beyond practical knowledge and application. I was fortunate to present at EN24 in Las Vegas, NV discussing the effectiveness of our homegrown ED Foundations program which ensures new-to-practice nurses can manage common ED emergencies with both didactic and clinical knowledge and skills. This is only possible because of The Institute for Nursing Excellence and the incredible ED Nurse Educator Collective at RWJBH who developed and support this program year round.
