Michael Santamaria established Elsternwick Osteopathy in 2009. After working for a leading Osteopathic clinic in Blackburn for 5 years and with almost 9 years experience in a Melbourne city clinic, Michael decided to open his own. He attended RMIT University and obtained a double degree in Applied Science and Osteopathic Science. Michael treated at the Carlton Football Club for 5 years and has tutored students at RMIT for a couple of years. Michael has also worked for various touring teams including treating the New Zealand All Blacks in the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Michael is a footy tragic and loves his Old Dark Navy Blues and embarrassingly admits to travelling to watch his beloved Carlton play interstate. But he adds that he has a wonderful interstate record and has carried his Blues to victory several times in the past few years. He is trying to embrace Mick Malthouse's new game plan, but believes this will take at least 6-10 rounds of the season proper. He loves getting down to Blairgowrie in the summer and loves his pasta which is no surprise with his Italian heritage.
