With nearly 40 years of experience in the games software industry, I have contributed to the development of approx. 140 titles, playing a pivotal role in delivering successful and innovative products. Since entering the industry in the 1980s, I have held a diverse range of roles, including 2D/3D artist, programmer, game and level designer, sound engineer, and producer. My career has led me to collaborate with prestigious companies such as Infogrames, Ocean, Starbyte, Infospace, Elkware, Greenwood, Eclipse, Reline Software and many more. My expertise spans an extensive range of platforms, from the early days of 8-bit systems like the C64 to Amiga, Atari ST, PC, PlayStation, Nintendo DS, browser games, and a multitude of mobile platforms. This adaptability underscores my ability to evolve with technological advancements and industry demands. In leadership roles, I have successfully managed both small and large teams, building entire departments from the ground up. My experience includes holding senior management positions where I was responsible for large-scale projects as well as the recruitment, development, and mentorship of talent. I am a firm believer in open communication, fostering teamwork, and supporting individual growth. My management approach reflects the conviction that motivated and empowered employees deliver exceptional results. Beyond team leadership, I have taken on P&L responsibilities for multi-million-dollar revenues, analyzing comprehensive product and company key figures.
