About Michael Savvides

I enjoy wearing many hats. Currently as a Program Manager, I carry out multiple initiatives while also supporting my team and students. In my spare time I conduct independent research related to cyber and geopolitical affairs. I earned an M.A. in the field of International Relations; my emphasis was in understanding and theorizing about the intersections between Information and Communications Technologies and international affairs. I offer prospective employers expertise in the relationship between technology and politics. In my graduate thesis, I developed a novel theoretical framework designed to understand the international system in the digital age. Prior to advancing to a Master's graduate, I spent over a decade in the hospitality industry. There I learned the significance of high level customer service engagements. I am more than comfortable taking on customer facing roles as well as executive level interactions. I am eager to utilize my experience in hospitality, combined with my resesrch skills and knowledge bank of international affairs towards relevant employment opportunities.
