About Michael Schillig
I have joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Leipzig on 1 February 2025, after almost 20 years at King’s College London. I read law at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, obtained an LL.M. from King’s College London and my PhD from Humboldt University Berlin. I was a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and at the University of California, Los Angeles. My research and teaching generally focus on financial law from both a regulatory and transactional perspective, as well as on corporate law and corporate insolvency law and new technologies in these areas.
