About Michael Schmit

I am a food and beverage professional and an veteran of multi-unit operations, strategic analysis, operational management, mentoring fellow team members and implementing concept driven quality and service programs. From casual dining to fine dining to beverage operations, I have experienced it and loved it. As Vice President and Corporate Director of Food and Beverage, I focus on developing our people first. Reducing cost of sales and balancing labor cost with service standards was the easier part. Finding team members that want to be part of a winning culture is the harder aspect of putting a team together. Building a team with the same sense of purpose, building success one guest at a time is my passion. I started as a dishwasher in high school and have cooked, bartended, put myself through college to obtain a 4 year degree and as a server worked my way up the ranks of restaurant management. I have worked in sales and as a teacher at a well known culinary college. I have never forgotten that success is exemplified through those who actually make it happen, the Team Members.
