About Michael Schubert

Versatile NGO/ Social Business Professional. I lived and worked for many years in West Africa as a project manager for EinDollarBrille e.V.(onedollarglasses). The development of appropriate marketing and sales strategies for very vulnerable groups were my main tasks. Since 2023 I am back in Europe and took my years of experience from the field back to the Headquarters! I am currently the international project manager of our Country Development Department and occupy myself mainly with the What? How? and Who? of program development in all our program countries (10 worldwide). A little more about me- After school I wanted to gain some work experience. I am a trained (completed) bank clerk- Afterwards I went back to university, resulting in my B.A. Cultural Anthropology & Law at the University of Munich- I started my professional career at the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) in Munich- Since 2017 I have been working for EinDollarBrille e.V. in various fields. I am a versatile interested and very flexible person. No task is too big and every challenge is welcome. My intercultural competence is an ideal basis through my studies to cope well especially in culturally foreign and challenging environments. My passions besides- Design and Brand Strategies (Print as well as Digital Design; Branding & CI)- web design - And everything that makes mind and body fly!
