About Michael Senktas

I work as a chemist specializing in complex delineation and remediation using both soil and ground water sampling technology for over 50 RCRA, BRAC, FUDS, and CERCLA sites. I have traveled and worked all over the country encountering many types of geology, hydrology, and geochemistry in order to prepare estimates, laboratory contracts, and scopes of work for hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste site investigations, feasibility studies, remedial designs, and remedial actions. Most of my work has been with chlorinated solvents and petroleum products but most recently I am taking part of the PFAS task force to see how these emerging contaminants of concern will affect current projects in an ever-evolving regulatory framework. Every project is a different challenge whether it be over water drilling or investigating the tidal influence of contamination flow. I am proud to be able to work with a multidisciplinary team of geologists, engineers, and project managers in order to get the job done. Please feel free to reach out.
