About Michael Shabani

Having attained my tertiary qualification in business with a major in accounting I began my professional career at B. K. Taylor & Co. in the capacity of an insolvency accountant, this was succeeded with a placement at the Australian Securities & Investments Commission, during which I was engaged as an analyst within the credit licensing division. After my tenure at ASIC, I gained employment at Hamilton Murphy resuming a role as an insolvency specialist. The experienced gained during these respective employment roles has been invaluable and has equipped me with essential personal & professional skills and attributes which I believe can be applied interchangeably in various roles and industry sectors. Described as cooperative, helpful, approachable and a good team player by colleagues and managers, I am confident in dealing with people and enjoy contributing to and making a difference within the team and the greater organisation. I see myself as potentially being a valuable and productive asset within any organisation if given the opportunity.
