About Michael Sharpe

Hi, I'm Michael Sharpe. I am a graduate from Appalachian State University with Bachelor's degree in Education and I currently live in Austin, TX. For the past 9 years I have worked as a public school teacher in Raleigh, NC and now Austin, TX. In that time, I have developed curriculum, planned and implemented lessons, been awarded grants, revitalized the music programs at both schools, and advocated for music in schools. I hope to one day work as either a project manager or training specialist within the tech world. I have pursued education outside of the classroom completing a Google Career certification in Project Management that led to me gaining my PMI-CAPM. My strengths include project management, teaching and training, building relationships, written communication, and creative problem solving.
