About Michael Shea

I’m an experienced financial planner with ten years of involvement in the financial services industry. I help executives, business owners and entrepreneurs plan for retirement, save on taxes and make smart investment decisions. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from Kennesaw State University with a degree in business administration and finance, I started my career in financial services. I moved to Nashville, TN a couple years post graduation. After multiple years with various investment advisory firms in Nashville I decided to launch my own firm, True Equity Wealth Management LLC, to better serve my clients. We simplify the process of managing your finances. We work with our clients to address their needs, wants, and goals. This is where your personal financial plan comes to life. We create a plan that evolves as your life changes and help you get to where you want to be. I specialize in helping mid-career professionals, sales professionals, and business owners who are building complex wealth, long-term wealth. What do I need to know about estate planning? Is a business exit or work-optional possible? When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active. My favorite activities are hiking and weightlifting. My wife is a travel nurse who also lives a healthy lifestyle – she’s a triathlete. We love experiencing new people and places.
