I am a graduate of Millikin University in Decatur, IL with my bachelor's degree in Music and Communication. My entire life I have always been involved with something. At Millikin, I was a member of two social fraternities, work as the Promotions Director for our college radio station, and served as a marketing chair for numerous organizations on campus. Coming into college, I knew that I wanted to go into music. I starting singing when I was seven years old and started taking private voices lessons since 2003. I have found a true passion for music. Music has been my escape for many things and it is where I feel the most confident in myself. From a young age, I became involved with community theatre and choirs. Since then, I have continued to be involved with choirs throughout high school and college. Millikin has a way of teaching that is unlike other universities. They strive on a concept called Performance Learning. Performance Learning is doing real life experiences in college and being able to use those experiences to your future occupation. I have taken full advantage of the Performance Learning technique and have strived to become a hard working individual for the workplace.I am a person who is a dedicated member to all of his commitments. I am a harmonious individual to be around who does not create conflict. I try to make others better while working on improving myself in the process. My fraternity has a motto that is "Better Men, Better Lives." I try to wake up every morning having that mantra in mind and live my life better than I was the day before.Overall, I am a passionate, dedicated individual who enjoys promotional and marketing for events and nonprofits. I also have a deep love for music and all who enjoy it.
