About Michael Shorey

I'm a product leader with a deep background in telecom and network engineering, currently focused on building and delivering fiber-based internet products that work reliably for both residential and business customers. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked across nearly every part of the broadband lifecycle, from network design and CPE testing to product launches and post-install support. At LiveOak Fiber, I manage the full product development process, from early-stage validation of ONTs, gateways, and wireless access points to launching and supporting those products in the field. I work closely with engineering, support, and sales teams to make sure we’re not just shipping hardware, we’re delivering a consistently great customer experience. My approach is practical and execution-focused. I prioritize solutions that reduce install times, simplify support, and scale well as we grow. I bring a strong understanding of how to evaluate and integrate complex platforms like Adtran, Calix, Cisco, Meraki and Ubiquiti into cohesive service offerings, always with a focus on performance, usability, and operational efficiency.
