About Michael Squires

Over my Career, I have attained a compilation of experience where my work ethic gave opportunity to new responsibilities and exposure to many facets of the built environment. This tenure has taught me valuable skills such as time management, a respect for all voices, and a fortitude to wade through challenges. My past experience includes working alongside team members, facilitating residential and commercial construction projects. My roles include handling a variety of tasks from design drawings, obtaining permits, cost estimating, material pricing, scheduling, and code research. I have also been involved in accessibly upgrades, building envelope and waterproofing design including subgrade, roof, and window replacement. My current experience is in manufacturing of Division 08 Commercial Entrances, Storefronts, and Curtain walls. I organically grew into a liaison position between the estimators, fabricators, and customers bridging the gap from drawing to execution. Creating submittal and shop drawing packages allowed me to develop an in depth understanding of the entrances and framing systems. I would often make time in my day to read ASTM and AAMA test reports for various Oldcastle systems to feed my curiosity and expand my knowledge base. I have provided positive customer interaction through accurate scheduling, clear communication of lead times, and fielded product questions.
